The purpose of Volvo Museum is to preserve the history of Volvo and make it known to the public. The museum is run by Volvo Car Group and Volvo Group (including Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Volvo Penta and Volvo Construction Equipment).
Ever since the opening in 1995, our collection has continued to grow. Apart from the products at display, we’ve also built up a comprehensive archive of historical documents and images, providing a unique view into the story of what became one of Sweden’s most successful companies.

Have you forgotten something at the Museum?
We keep our lost and found for a month and after that we donate it to Volvo’s Charity organisation.
The friends of Volvo Museum is a non-profit organisation run by enthusiasts who help us spread the word about the museum. Thanks to them, we also get invaluable help in finding and restoring vehicles and other objects to add to our collection.
